  • Mobility management focuses on meeting individual customer needs through a wide range of transportation options and service providers. Mobility management also is intended to build coordination among existing public transportation providers and other transportation service providers with the result of expanding the availability of service.

  • No, the MM program does not have any funding available that can assist with fares. However, the MM program works with funding sources to identify new ways to fund transportation fares. Therefore, we do not pay for transportation but we’ll do our best to help find a way to get the funding to cover your transportation expenses.

  • Health care:

    Transportation projects that include health outcomes (EX: free transportation on Tuesdays to the health department for flu shots). MM can help with communications and transportation access to health initiatives like Community health resource information, Vaccine locations, etc. Mental Health- Access/transportation to treatment or therapy before it becomes a critical need.

    Human Services:

    Individuals need transportation to human service programs. MM can help: Mobility projects that are or can be human service programs to support ongoing transportation projects

    Justice-Involved Agencies:

    Individuals need transportation to court appointments, probation officer meetings, groceries, medications, healthcare, employment, and social services. Special consideration of mobility needs for inmates with disabilities.

    Workforce & Employment Agencies:

    MM can explore and develop solutions around employment transportation needs. They also coordinate job fair transportation as well as provide information about transportation at these job fairs.

  • YES!

    If the transportation provider listed cannot provide the request themselves or if the need is beyond what that agency can do, then the individual can be referred to the MM for an advanced level of assistance.

    Organizations and transportation providers can have mobility management resource information on hand and can contact the mobility manager for the elevated needs of individuals.
